Bernard Tench III better known as “BJ” is a Pittsburgh Native, a North side resident who enjoys working with the Pittsburgh community. BJ has served as a program director, Therapeutic Staff, Foster Care case worker, teacher, cultural consultant and recently a character development coach. He was one of the top nominees for the 2013 employee of the year while employed by Every Child Inc. The 32 year old has a passion for sports, animals and fine arts. His versatile-cultural background and focus on community collaboration has led him to numerous opportunities and leadership roles. The Beaver Falls graduate has experience with all settings both in the inner city and surrounding counties. This experience has helped BJ display empathetic and encouraging behavior with all people in all settings.
BJ is an independent contractor with PerspectVe LLC. He received a bachelor’s degree from West Liberty State University after transferring from Delaware State University due to a career ending football injury. He ensures that he will give the people a piece of his heart, mind and energy. He still believes in the old saying "It takes a village to raise a child," "Actions speak louder than words," and "Power to all the people."
